The Commission approves many major contracts, procurement policies, capital plans, and budget amendments while staff administers day-to-day purchasing.
My Current Commitment
I will review major contracts for scope, competition, lifecycle cost, change-order risk, measurable performance, and public reporting.
Proposed Actions
- Publish a major capital-project status dashboard.
- Track change orders and repeated project delays.
- Review emergency and sole-source purchasing patterns.
- Ask for measurable contractor performance standards where practical.
